This text is currently a work in progress... these things take time and the correct moments of inspiration, thank you for your patience... but for now here is the general gist...
Alignment is a work in process which began way back in 2001. Since as long as I can remember I have been drawn to sites of ancient cultures. Alignment documents some of these ancients sites which I have visited around the globe, all which are rich in archeological history.
The journeys made have been intentional and sometimes unintentional visiting sites of interest in Ireland, Sweden, Iceland, Turkey, Malta, UK, Egypt, Peru Hawaii and Scotland.
What I find most fascinating about these places are their connection within the world of cosmology, as many of these sites are considered to be aligned to the sunrises and sunsets on specific days of the year. These day s usually fall into alignment with the festive season markers in what is known as the Celtic Wheel of the year.
Over the years this body of work has developed to include images captured while at some of these sites on mornings and evenings of those annual festive alignments.
